Dear Mum,
I have got a day off, so I have sent you a photo through the window of ‘Sweeney’s’ on the high street, where I am eating one of their pies. Bet you are jealous!!!
Town has changed a lot since we were here. As you can see, right next to ‘Bodymorphs’ is a new branch of ‘The Drop’. On the other side is ‘Starbucks’, so you can get a new face, a coffee and kill yourself without breaking a sweat. What about that!!!
From ‘Sweeney’s’, you have a perfect view of who goes in. No point waiting to see who comes out because nobody does, that’s the point – haha!!! They let you take photos as long as you don’t use flash and the best ones get put on display outside and you get a FREE pie!!!
‘The Drop’ has got one of those amazing flames outside. It’s got to be a hundred feet high. It burns in all sorts of amazing patterns and colours and the smell is amazing. It all depends on who was last in.
For reference – the opening hours for ‘The Drop’ are 9 to 5 on weekdays, 8 to 6 on Saturdays, and 12:00 midday to 12:00 midnight on Sundays, but watch out because there is quite often a queue at night because that’s the best time to see the flames.
Anyway, I have finished my pie and it looks like a slow day, just a couple of kids. So I will sign off for now.
