Why Fleeting? The river Fleet, once a river broad enough to float a marauding

Viking ship on its way to York, is now just a trickle passing within yards of our house. Any existential connections you wish to make with the transitory nature of our lives and the triviality of the artifacts we leave in our wake (this being one of them)

is up to you.
