To the reader

This is all my creative writing, presented in the order in which I wrote it. I have kept each story or poem almost exactly as it was originally published on the Fleeting website; however, to aid readability, my son George has edited my very unpredictable spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

The weak material has not been removed, as this would be contrary to the spirit of a ‘complete works’ – a painful decision! There are two versions of this document: a printed edition (with just the images included with the original posts printed in black-and-white) and a digital edition that will include extra images in colour and other updates. If you would like a printed edition, please ask us but we will have to pass on the cost.

The Tuffin stories are mostly presented in the order in which I wrote them. As they were sometimes uploaded in groups, I have added them in similar groups arbitrarily across the whole document.

Tuffin does not appear fully-formed, as claimed in the first story in this document,

but appears first as a name on November 6th 2014, with the full series not kicking off until May 3rd 2017. To adhere to this exact chronology would result in an indigestible amount of Tuffin in a short space. To add to the confusion, I wrote a number of stories or poems which feature Tuffin that retain individual entries in the main index and are not included in the dedicated Tuffin sections. Make of this muddle what

you will.

The Red Telephone Box that Talks a Bit Like Me, the other important player in these poems and stories (indeed the performer of many of the texts), is best understood by viewing the 14-minute video at
