Two gentlemen

So these two gentlemen came on and started to talk. Talk not like you and me but talk of what’s going on, what’s gonna happen if we stay and wait and listen hard. I wish I had been there and heard them – how did they do talking – like you and me or different – sweetly or quite gruff – like a drum I bet to make people wake up and listen. Very different. Talk like I have never heard. Like this. Di dah, di dah, di dah, di dah, di dah. I know that talking – that’s an easy one to get – let me give you a clue. Di dah, di dah, di dah, di dah, di dah. Di dah, di dah, di dah, di dah, di dah. It’s poetry I bet! You have certainly got the drift. I can hear it between my ears, the tune, you do not meet a man but frowns our bloods. You do not meet a man but frowns our bloods. And what did he mean? The gentleman I mean – no, don’t tell me – I see the issue is punctuation. That may be true but where and what?

You do not, meet a man but frowns our bloods. You do not meet a man, but frowns our bloods. You do not meet a man but frowns, our bloods. You, do not meet a man but frowns our bloods.

You do not meet a man but frowns: our bloods, No more obey the heavens than our courtiers, Still seem as does the king.

There we go.
